You might find the number on a plate or stamped in the wood in front of the left (right)? Leg where the Keybed faces the beams and sound board, most Wurlitzers And some others had the numbers put there. An awkward place to look, easy to miss, it threw me many times over the years. I've looked everywhere I can think of; every inch of the plate, soundboard top and bottom, cheekblocks, keyslip, lyre, action, etc. The piano looks to be around 30 years old and has not been restored or refinished. Any suggestions? David Weiss -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: <http://ptg.org/pipermail/pianotech.php/attachments/20100102/e980e16f/attachment.htm>
