Allan, Thanks for the info. I found it just where you said. It was very lightly stamped in the wood, barely legible. Only by shining a strong light could I see it and read it. I've never seen a more cleverly disguised serial number. Leg where the Keybed faces the beams and sound board, most Wurlitzers And some others had the numbers put there. An awkward place to look, easy to miss, it threw me many times over the years. I've looked everywhere I can think of; every inch of the plate, soundboard top and bottom, cheekblocks, keyslip, lyre, action, etc. The piano looks to be around 30 years old and has not been restored or refinished.
