I have taken an old wooden bench and cleaned the top with cleaning wax. It look much better.except for the parts where the wax has gone into the teeny-tiny cracks in the top. Maybe this is the cracked varnish??? Anyway, other than sanding the top, is there another way to remove the hairline wax "leftovers"? Brian P. Doepke, M.Mus.Ed.,RPT A.A.A.
