Maybe we could use like like a dog collar. If a tech comes in to scrap off our service stickers, they will get the shock of their lives! hehehe. That way there's no personalized info on there, but still the tech that's doing the next service gets a quick overview about what was done. We used a similar system in our classroom (worked as paraeducator before). I like the idea of a service record but the only way it will stay with the piano is if it doesn't have the tuner's logo on it. I have been trying a little envelope stuck to the bottom of the music desk/grands and inside of music desk/uprights. Inside is a generic service record, no logos and the customer knows about it. All the writing...graffiti... on the plate etc. is unnecessary in my opinion. Leaving biz cards is just fine, but they will go in the pocket of the next tech...
