The only things I've written in pianos are notifications such as marking a
ply seperation with date/year at each end, marking loose pins(red marker) I
find it stands out better than chalk and is easily removed with rubbing
alcohol after being driven.
In other words notes to myself or whoever follows me to keep an eye on the
items marked.
