Just thought I'd share this. An action ratio measurement tool. Made from a piece of scrap bridge cap maple about 5" x 1/2" x 1/2" with a machine screw set into the block and therefore capable of a very fine and precise adjustment in height, a couple of jiffy leads to just hold it down on the adjacent keys without depressing them. Pretty simple. The nice thing is that it's thin enough that you can slide it back and forth across the length of the head of the key easily and see how the ratio changes depending on the point at which you depress the key. The machine screw here is set at 6 mm which seems a good number as that's just short of where the jack tender contacts the let off button.
