Eeeeeeee gads - you call that hanging over? That's arguably flush with the side of the damper head. That is not 1 mm overhang at all. I'm talking about significant overhang - looks cheap, IMHO. IMHO, those pictured look okey-dokey - although - hey, you posted the pictures - the cut angle for the front of the damper felt doesn't quite match the heads - not real far off.... Oh boy, I'd better be careful next time I post a picture of some of my work - I have no doubt all sorts of criticism could be made. I think I'd better hush up and go to bed.....
