If you are going to offer them a discount then offer $10 off whatever the fee actually is rather than guaranteeing $10 off your basic fee. So if extra work is required and the normal total fee comes to, say $175, you give them a $10 discount to $165. Explain that you are willing to give them a $10 discount but you can't guarantee from what since you haven't seen the pianos.
