All the more reason to read the list via the archives. You don't have to d/l the attachment and you can read all the posts you want. Why do you 'need' to have instant priority delivery? Get with it - it's already online. The listing in the archive is instantaneous anyway, so the immediate dispersion to membership is wasted bandwidth.
