Mark asked:
"I would like to purchase an ETD in the near future. I have given each ETD
brand some thought and I really am not able to make up my mind about which
one to choose.

If you would not mind can you possibly give a list of 5 or more reasons why
you use a particular ETD brand?
Thank you"

Mark,
I've used almost every kind. My choice is the SAT II Reasons: 1. It does what I tell it to, not what it thinks, (yeah, like the darned thing thinks!), I need to know! 2. The key pad is big enough for my big hands//fingers...(big item there!) I have tried the SAT III, but button spacing is too close) I understand the SAT IV has gone back to wider spacing. The waterproof case is a nice new feature, btw. I have not had an opportunity to try it as yet, although I doubt I would change as the SAT II does everything I need. BTW, I Do Not Use the FAC stuff,....ever! (see my article in PTJ January2000, to see why.<G> 3. it has a very husky case that will carry my impact tuning levers and the necessary accessories needed. 4. It stores Historic Temperaments easily. I do use them. 5. Since I hold the record for "Using the most SATs in a classroom setting", why would I use something else??<G> 6. It suits me and is, IMO, bullet proof! (Thanks to Al and Co. for it, btw!<G>)
Regards,
Joe

Thank you

Mark
