While I don't like universals a bit and haven't used one for a long 
time, here's an easy way to determine the equivalent hexagonal core 
diameter if matching cross sectional area is good enough for you. In 
thousandths of an inch, the round core diameter *1.0996 will give you 
the across the points equivalent hex measurement.
