[pianotech] Ritmuller grand bridge problems

Good morning list,

Last night I went out after my day at the shop to tune a Ritmuller GP148R1
purchased at a "University Sale Event" in 2005. The action was a total
mess, no let off. So I got the action working well enough to tune the
piano, put in the strip mute and noticed that the portion of the treble
bridge proximal to the speaking length, between notes 88 and about 80 was
torn loose, cracking along the bridge pin notching. Piano has a
Dammp-Chaser system that the client says he faithfully keeps filled.

Anyway, has anyone had any similar problems with the make/model piano? Just
curious.

Thanks,

Richard Cromwell
