David, I've tried it in a number of ways, but the outcomes are usually 
disappointing.  The best thing I've found is to add a few drops on hammer 
crowns in practice rooms when there is no time to voice, but the hammers 
brighten up faster than if I steam them.

What have you tried?

Profelt product, or precautions for that matter.
