Yup, that was me. Upon second hearing ('puter volume up/TV down {how many times have _I_ asked customers to turn down _their_ TVs??}), I'm changing my diagnosis to damper timing. [I certainly don't want to disagree w/Ms Kline - could be dangerous... ;-} ]

Conrad Hoffsommer mentioned "blocking hammers" and I accidentally switched that to "bobbling hammers" in my amazing mind. (mental alchemy, if you will) Now that I got it right I DO hear what sounds like blocking, but I will agree with susan that it may be a damper timing problem.
BTW The player is a "him" not a "her" :)
