Thanks for the responses concerning the glycol leaked onto the C3. Incidently, the brand name of this glycol is Gly-Kool. Many jokes will be made about how Kool it is. Gly-Kool contains additives for anti-corrosion and pH balance to keep from hurting ferrous metals and copper pipes. Might that change your feelings, Ron, about the need for re-stringing if I can clean the stuff off the strings? (I doubt the bass strings can be salvaged.) Thanks again. Not that long ago, some tooners used to use ethylene glycol for pin dope.
