It'll still attract moisture, and antifreeze is a bear to glean off of 
stuff without plenty of soap and water. I've typically found that 
approaching these things optimistically is dangerous. I'd rather be 
wrong in favor of a safer than necessary rebuild or replacement than to 
find after spending the insurance money on minimal repairs, that it was 
the wrong choice. First rule of hang gliding - never fly higher than 
you're willing to fall. To me, that means leave as little to chance as 
possible when you just get one shot.
