Subject: [pianotech] drop actions

Hi Everyone,
I have a customer whos acion I'm finally taking back to her tomorow. She
was out of the country for a month and she finallygot back with me. The
action is a drop action from a Winter spinet. Since I took the action back
in October, yes this things been done and sitting in my basement for over a
month. Since then we had to get a different car because the old suv we had
died. So my question is will it be safe to lay this action on its back
against the dampers in the trunk of this old Jetta we purchaased. NO I
didn't want the Jetta, but it was cheap and someone a friend of our knew so
sometimes price dictates. :-) So will this be safe for the action? Is
there any chance of bending spoons or will they be OK? thanks
Marshall
