Again, how many - years - is it going to take for you aural tuners to accept that the technology of ETD's are here to stay ???????????????????????????????????? DAMN THIS ARGUMENT AND NON-ACCEPTANCE (OF ETD'S) IS GETTING MIGHTY OLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Duaine You are totally out of line here. There is nothing wrong with using an ETD. I use one every day, as do most RPT's. But until you actually know how to tune aurally, which you admit you don't know how to do, you will NEVER know how much better an aural tuning is. You might be satisfied with an ETD tuning, but that doesn't mean it's better than an aural tuning. Susan Kline an, you aural tuners just can't stop trying to beat down ETD tuners. We, ETD tuners are here to stay, whether you like it or not. SO, why can't you tuners just accept us and move on. Why should I spend my precious time learning all the damn checks and alances, when most of that is in the program. AGAIN - it has been - proven - that an ETD tuning is just as good as an ural tuning. So, I would rather spend my time actually tuning pianos with the aid of n ETD. AND, yes, I still do some aural tuning because I can tell when unisons re in tune with no beats and I check octaves.
