And in ten years, or however many years one has before hanging one's tuning hammer up in the great tool crib in the sky. It is repeatable, because one remembers the flavor, and keeps at the tuning till the flavor is back. (Sometimes, in a fairly stable climate, the flavor never left.) There's no reason for the same piano not to give one the same results, assuming the voicing hasn't gone way out of kilter in the meantime.
