However, there is a BIG BUT....

They will NOT criticize and put down anyone that will not or can not learn and pass an Aural tuning tests !

They will NOT argue and try and tell you that Associates' level should not be servicing the public !

They will NOT try and stop Associates from advertising - like the PTG website does (and like some RPT's tried to do on
our local chapters' website) !

They are NOT stuck in the dark ages over Aural vs ETD tuning techniques !

They are NOT forcing the membership to use crappy services for discussions !

And whatever other issues I've covered on this email list !

Did you ever stop to think that MPT may have been started because of all these other issues ??

"In 1976, five piano technicians met in a private home in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Collectively, they had been members
of the Piano Technicians Guild for over 85 years; *_all five had been PTG chapter presidents_*. These men felt that they
needed something in addition to the PTG, so the organization of the Master Piano Technicians Guild of America was born."
...... "The question most often asked is, "why another organization for piano technicians?" The answer is clear and
simple: The organization of Master Piano Technicians has just one reason for existing, which is to benefit members"
