And why would someone who is hired to find out tell us anything if the
people (board) who hired them doesn't want us to know anything about it
- which seems to be the case now?

My first, and current impression was/is that they took their software
maintenance money and bought themselves a bunch of new toys, whether any of
them served our needs or not.

These are impressions. What we *don't* have, and can't seem to get, are
facts.
