I think it is astonishing that he was able to get them to send him anything at all. That must be a first on this list. Send them back if you can ever talk to someone at Baldwin, get a refund (good luck!), and get a set from another supplier who can meet your needs. That would be most anybody but Baldwin. It would not surprise me if these are Chinese made parts for the Chinese made Baldwins (Is there anything else these days?) that bear little meaningful resemblance to their American ancestor.
