[pianotech] cracked plate

Ran across this cracked plate yesterday:

It was a no name 6 foot grand, pretty well constructed otherwise. It had
long backscale and tremendous tone and power.

I know the question has been asked and answered before. LocknStitch as I
recall was the only real fix. Is that still the case?

Thanks,

Dean
