I have found the people in the parts department to be very cordial and accommodating. Whether its a complete set of action parts, or an Acorn nut, I'm sure they will get you what you need.
e-mail them at parts at steinway.com. If you don't have a part number, they will send you a parts list at no charge.

Does anyone out there have a brass acorn I can purchase.   It needs to be 1/4 and 20 threads per inch, brass.   I don't want to have to call Steinway because I am so small, they wont give me the time of day.   Thanks in advance,
