Indeed...besides, now, as apparently ever, we 
learn from history that we learn nothing from history....

Besides, six years of German doesn't help one 
with many other languages...fortunately, I've 
picked up a few Latin roots (as it were), and had 
to get a smattering (think of trying to tune a 
Kimball 4430) of Greek and Hebrew in seminary...
