On Sunday I enjoyed a Beethoven recital by Richard Goode (the three last sonatas and 6 Bagatelles). As you can see from the photo taken from my seat, I was close to the piano. An older couple were seated in front of me, The wife made some comment about the piano, to which her husband replied "The piano? It's a Steinway. All concert pianos are Steinway". Oh well.
