Like you, I am not the least bit interested in Windows 8. (I have a separate ipad for touch-screen playing.)
>From what I've read, it seems like a disastrously bad idea for anyone who uses their computer for more than just "fooling around". (Perhaps I'm wrong, but I have yet to be convinced otherwise.)
