[pianotech] Say goodbyebye Folks

I think that the absence of sub-forums (sub-fora) is one of pianotech's
main advantages over myptg.org.

They took a room which was only marginally populated begin with, and
carved it all up into
little cubicles, where people could hang around in nearly solitary
confinement. And having all
those tiny empty cells has led people to cross-post almost everything to
two or
three places. But some of the replies don't get cross-posted. It's a mess.

Better to dump everything into one large room, and use the subject line
to let people
ignore what they aren't interested in. For one thing, sometimes people
want to read what
particular individuals have to say, whether or not they are following a
particular thread.

Given the average age of piano techs, we can be expected to gradually
thin out -- indeed,
it is already starting to happen. We should stay together in larger
groups as much as we
conveniently can.
