---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment On the west coast, the value of a fully restored 6'4" A would be $40,000 - $45,000. To get it there, $25,000. The difference ($15,000 - $20,000) is not the wholesale value. Subtract something for value added on the work performed, opportunity cost (what you could do with the money that was tied up while the piano was being restored), and the cost of selling it. That reduces that wholesale value by at least 1/2 to about $7500 - $10,000. Of course, this is sight unseen, but that's how I would go about figuring it out. And then about what would be it sell for once it's been rebuilt? Wim ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
