Hi Lance,
                    There is no single adjustment that fixes this 
malady.   The jack position,repetition height, blow distance, and 
repetition spring tension,  are all interactive with each other.   Now add 
let off, and drop to the mix, just to make life a little more difficult.

Start by checking the back checking/rep spring tension.   Next, move on to 
jack position, and repetition lever height.  (winking the jack).   After 
this the hammer line needs touching up.

Let off and drop, should be done now,  before moving through all the 
regulation steps again.
