Yup.  Went to stop a rattle. Figgered that if it's rattling, it ain't 
tight. If it ain't tight, removing it won't affect anything.

Occasionally, it may have some benefit.  If you loosen the screws and it 
doesn't just lift right out, don't force the issue. It might actually be 
doing something.  Leave it be.
