Richard,

I have come to be disappointed in the influence of the listserves.  
Many times it is the person who is the rudest and shouts the loudest 
that gets the respect of the whole.   Yes, we already have a form of 
moderator.  It is a form I find to be negative.    The only way for 
this type of behavior to stop in the real world or cyber space is for 
people to start saying this is unacceptable.  You say nothing about it, 
it continues and is accepted.
