This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/mixed attachment Les, hello, I received your question in my personal mailbox, and I am not ^posting on the list for a (too ) long time now, for many reasons, totally on my side. I mayy say that I dont have to use hearing aids actually, but of course I guess that time will come, my father uses some -he is ^pianist and musician). I just wanted to say to you, as you probably knwo yet, that as , consciencly or not we use our sensitive touch to tune (ou fingers, chest and body that are able to deliver a message about the convenicnec of an unisson, an octave, and why not a fith or othe beating or non beating intervals) I strongly believe that we can rely on more than our ears only, and that having hearin aids only may give us an opportunity to focus prefernetly on other senses. I had many experiences working with earplugs in absoluitely noisy places, and I know I used tactile senses to confirm me what was going on at these occasions, and then I use them as well in usual tuning). That , EDT and your experience may be very well enough for you to provide the same job than before. I believe that the only part wher you will differ is in the high treble, and even there, the tactile sense may be working. Feeling a good octave in the high treble is very certainly an option At the worst it may be very lively, and that is not necessarly a bad thing. Hearing aids are there to boost the speech zone, I guess, does not seem a trouble to me if I see atuner wearing some. All the best , andd sorry if I am off the question.
