[CAUT] Pinblock damage caused by CA glue?

The only slightly negative experience I had was trying to remove the plate 
from a B Steinway. Tail lifted up and pin area stayed put.  I partially 
inserted some plate screws, pulled back up on the plate and hammered on the 
screws (actually on scrap wood block to avoid chipping paint on screw top) 
and the plate popped free.
