Hi Rob,
These can indeed be wonderful instruments!  I am a lover of  Blüthners. 
  Don't know what the market value may be - often, due to the low name 
recognition factor, they go for way below their value.
The 4th strings are called Aliquot strings, by the way.  Their effect 
may be debatable, but these pianos are renowned for their fine sound.

What kind of action does it have?  Blüthner had its own Patent Action , 
which looks primitive but works really well.  in the 1920s they used 
mainly regular style grand actions.

I carry special parts to rebuild these pianos, such as action parts, 
case parts, special hammers, blue stringing cloth, etc.   Check out:
