Dar Jim- We had a rash of this kind of thing with non Chinese loan pianos. How are the damper springs? Are they excessively strong? Is it any better with sustain engaged? By weakening the damper and jack springs and restoring more normal regulating dimensions it seemed to cure it on these. Your mileage may vary. David David C.
