Thank you, all. I misspoke about the damper. I did remove the damper wires on both sides of the string in question. Another detail I left out is the strings have been changed hoping to eliminate loose windings. That's what I thought it was at first I will check the other things you mentioned. I'll slide a piece of paper around under string and above the aliquot and bridge pins and see if I can make it buzz on a hard blow or plucking it.
