Dear Joe, At the risk of starting a flame - I recommend prayer. You have an impossible situation. On the bright side, they cannot force you to do bad work. Document everything, keeps copies of all notes, memos. Also, maintain a running log of conversations, comments, et cet. This takes much less time than you may think, and provides you with support when needed. You might also contact Ken Sloane, at Oberlin, (he reads this list all the time so you may hear from him).
