Regarding the recent postings concerning agraffes, I would like to mention the article in the Journal from a few years ago that dealt with replacement. Unfortunately we do not have an index for the last few years so I have not found it yet. Anyone know what issue? This particular article took all of the mystery out of the subject and I have found it relatively easy to replace a set. The great piece of information from the article is the use of a counterbore to set the position correctly. It really helps in cutting down the use of the washers and the over tightening problem. I believe Pianotek sells the counterbore but I found one in a machine tool catalog for less money. Don McKechnie Ithaca College dmckech@ithaca.edu
