More Agraffee

I am interested in the mechanics of transmitting graphics (and word processor
files as well) over the net.  It would seem the better way to give very
complete information on a particular subject without mandating the recipient
pay a bunch o' bucks to read something on the net "live".

Being "old" at BBS, it was standard procedure to download messages to read
off line.  Is this possible here?
