Hey Walt How are you doing? Hope all is well with you and your family. I don't know if it would help the dampers you asked about but if you get a hold of a small dental brush you can sometimes reach in under the felt and ruff it up a bit and thereby stop the buzz. However if this works at all it is only temporary. Sounds like they really need new dampers.
