Ditto on the good diagnostic technique. Whenever the customer has a complaint
about a sticky key or whatever, I ask them to demonstrate it
*before*I*touch*the*piano*. If they are doing something ignorant, like not
lifting a finger entirely off an upright piano key, I can quickly point out
the "user error", and not spend hours looking for the non-functioning
non-function.
