For all you number freaks out there. I found my list of weights for different
manufacturers of Steinway backchecks. Numbers represent an average of several
checks within a set:

Wide (11mm as opposed to 10mm) Steinway old style - 5.1 grams
Tokiwa Steinway old style (I believe they were wide style) - 5.15 grams
Renner style (much smaller check) - 5.2 grams
