Hello! My wife has checked into creating a permanent #pianotech channel on the IRC undernet and found that to do so, two things are needed. A channel manager and a list of at least 10 people who support the creation of the channel and will regularly use it. If we already have someone who wants to act in the role of channel manager, please send me e-mail, and we will send you the info and the request form for creating the channel. Otherwise, my wife has offered to act as channel manager temporarily, since she knows quite a bit about IRC, until such a time as a new channel manager is chosen or volunteers. Whoever supports the creation of a permanent #pianotech channel, please send us your e-mail address and the nickname you plan to use on IRC (both are needed for the request form). As soon as we receive this info from at least 10 people, we will either register the channel or send the info to whomever is going to be the channel manager. Thank you. David A.
