Piano use policy for outside groups (fwd)

If the outside groups are responsible for 20% of the use,  they should pay
20% of the cost.  For tuning, that is easy, but for the wear and tear,
depreciation, and insurance, there are a lot of things to be considered.

    A constantly used piano will need at least $100 worth of regulating per
year, even if you wait three years, somebody is going to have to spend the
$300 for a regulation, and that does not address repairs, hammer filing,
voicing, etc.

   Look at the previous maintenance billing, per time, and you will have an
idea of cost per piano per year,  then figure out the percentage of use the
outside people account for.

I wish this thread would stay public on the list here,  I, for one,  will
always be interested in how piano use is expensed.
