Mylar

     Dear List,
     
     I am preparing to remove the cap off of my bass bridge and want to 
     make a record of the hole pattern.  The PTG article reprints in 
     "Bridges and Soundboard Repair" say to use Mylar.
     
     What is Mylar and where can one buy some?
     
     Do any of you used something different to record the old hole pattern?
