Hi Phil, This sounds like the string cover that LaRoy Edwards makes. They are very nicely made. I have not found any customers interested in buying one, but I am told by technicians who have used them that they are quite effective. LaRoy says that it cuts down on the volume a little bit, but most people adjust to that quickly.
