Avery, I certainly agree with that statement.  However, I have found
Les' bonker very useful, i.e., saving fingers, on the top 2 octaves of
Baldwin SD-6 and SD-10s.  I realize we're really inexperienced compared
to many on the list, but I still have a terrible time when the speaking
length is like 2 1/2 or 3 inches and the distance from the pin to the
capo bar is like 7 or 8 inches.
