On the spinets where the abstract is pinned to the wippen you have to run off
the nut.  However, on most Baldwins the abstract wire can be slipped out of
the wippen, the grommet slipped off of the bottom end and a new one slid on.
 This can all be accomplished very quickly with very little regulation
required, practically no wear on the fragile not and without even removing
the action from the piano.
