When we had a music store here, I took a Yamaha CVP-55 digital piano and an
old good-for-nothing Story&Clark 4'6" grand an merged the two.  I have a
wood shop where I not only do my piano work, but custom design & build
stereo speaker systems.  I cut everything out of the grand and fitting the
Clav in the grand case, installed a Hafler 120 watt amp, 1-12" dual voice
coil woofer, 2-6" mids, and 4-1" tweeters.  This thing really was neat.  It
sold within 2 weeks of putting it up for sale ($8995.00).

Actually I had a church do this.  Someone donated an old Kimball grand that
they gutted and refinished.  They bought a new Clavinova, removed it from
its case and fitted it in the front of the Kimball carcass.  The speakers
were placed back where the soundboard used to be.  Believe it or not this
replaced a Steinway S with loose pins to avoid rebuilding it.
